Group Plans

Group plans are available to companies of 1 or more employees (as defined by WA state regulation).  They often provide better benefits and more plan options than those purchased on the individual market.  They are, however, generally more expensive than individual plans.

Rates for group plans will be based on the demographics of your company.  Some things to consider:  What is the average age of your employees?  What are their home zip codes?  Are they male or female?  How many dependents will be covered?  This information will be listed on your company census when you request a quote. 

Some trust plans also look at broad health questions (see the Risk Questionnaire in the Forms section) to determine rates.
